A Lesson Plan for Grade I
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, at least 75% of the pupils will be able:
a) To familiarize the different animals.
b) To give the different animal sounds.
c) To match the name of the animal to the correct picture.
II. SUBJECT MATTER

III. PROCEDURE
A. Prayer
A pupil will be asked to lead the class in a word of prayer.
B. Motivation
The pupils will be asked to say their favorite pets.
C. Preparation
From the class, the different pictures of animals taken from the selection will
introduce to the pupils.
The class will be grouped into two, girls and boys and from these groups; they
will going to read the selection.
D. Presentation
From the selection given, the pupils will be asked to give the different animal sounds
E. Practice
The students will be asked to match the animals name from the correct animal pictures.
V. ASSIGNMENT
The students will be asked to draw their favorite animal or pet and they will write their reason why they like that pet that will be put in their notebook.
